While OMEGA watches are distinguished by their style, they are cherished for their quality. In their continuing quest to raise industry standards, OMEGA officially extended the warranty on all their timepieces to 5 years in 2018. The decision followed a new state-of-the-art factory, and the revolutionary arrival of Master Chronometer certification. This established a new industry benchmark for precision, performance and magnetic resistance.
Being an industry leader is however nothing new to OMEGA. The brand has set more precision records than anyone else, and has a global reputation for timekeeping expertise which they have brought to the world’s leading competitions.
OMEGA has been a passionate supporter, sponsor and Official Timekeeper of Emirates Team New Zealand since 1995.The brand is also back on board as Official Timekeeper of the 2021 America’s Cup to be held on the waters of Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour.

OMEGA has been the official timekeeper at almost all Olympic Games. At these events, OMEGA has introduced numerous technological breakthroughs and improved sports timekeeping from 1/10th of a second in 1932, to 1/100th of a second today.
Perhaps the most famous OMEGA watch is the Speedmaster. Its status as the first watch on the Moon earned it the nickname “The Moonwatch” in 1969, and it has subsequently been worn on all six lunar landings.
And then of course there is Bond. James Bond. The legendary spy has worn an OMEGA Seamaster for the last nine Bond films. Both OMEGA and 007 are appreciated for their debonair style, adventurous spirit and reliability, meaning they complement each other perfectly.
