Expect the Unexpected

As is the case with most successful brands, there is often one design that emerges as a leader; An ultimate icon that serves as an embodiment of the brand’s aesthetic ethos, a statement of intention. For Milanese jewellery brand Vhernier, this can be seen in its Calla collection. Initially developed as a necklace adapting ergonomically to the shape of those wearing it, Calla’s pieces are comprised of a soft and sinuous sequence, a simple shape that through its repetition and continuous movement, inspire feelings of calm and balance. Without curlicues or frills, the Calla expresses a minimalist vocation with the same courage and beauty inherent in the brand’s DNA. 

A mainstay in the marque’s design vernacular for over 20 years, Vhernier has revisited the collection, experimenting and using different and unexpected materials. Rendered in materials including titanium, kogolong (a precious white coloured stone) chalcedony, rose opal, and coral, far from making the piece less precious, these iterations have only expressed the sophisticated and non-conformist soul of the brand. Most classically made in rose gold with diamond detail, today the collection of bracelets, earrings, rings and chains represents jewellery for the everyday wearer — those bold enough to balance the unpredictable with sensual modernity.
